Fifteen years ago, we pioneered the import of high-quality seaweed from the world’s finest sources into Thailand. Today, S&T General Foods is renowned for its range of healthy, yummilicious seaweed-based snack products.
The company was established on 19/02/2008 by S&T General Food Co.,Ltd. It is one of the initiators to import seaweed which is the first raw material in Thailand. And finished goods made from seaweed, including various snacks that focus on the health benefits of consumers.
We source our seaweed imports from Korea, China and Japan, three countries that take seaweed seriously as a part of their cuisine. From the beginning, our focus has been on developing healthy, nutritious snacks for children using seaweed as the raw material. Every original recipe developed by Chef Anna Aroy goes through extensive field trials and development with children before it is finalized and launched. Chef Anna stays involved in every stage to ensure a highest standard of taste and mouthfeel.
Our philosophy is captured in our brand, Ginjung, and our motto: Eat healthy, eat yummy, eat happy.
Ginjung seaweed snacks are manufactured today in two factories. Our first factory is in Bang Pa-In District. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, and certified by the Ministry of Public Health and the Department of Industrial Works of Ayutthaya Province.
Four years ago, we opened our second factory in Chiang Mai, following our company's policy of sharing our good fortune with the community.
